Exciting Results from the 4th Meeting of Linkiwood Association!
We are thrilled to share the wonderful outcomes of our recent meeting with the members of Linkiwood Association. The gathering was filled with insightful discussions and collaborative efforts aimed at driving innovation in the forestry and wood industry.
During the meeting, we had the pleasure of introducing Ilya Gorodnyansky, who presented an exceptional mobile app for German foresters called Polterapp and Polter Cloud. Ilya shared the challenges he faced in promoting and reaching a wider audience for this valuable app. As the members of Linkiwood Association, we recognised the importance of informing foresters from the DACH regions about this app and providing them with the opportunity to experience its benefits firsthand. Polterapp is incredibly user-friendly and can be easily downloaded from the App Store.
Additionally, Ilya sought guidance on which forest events he should attend to further promote his app. Fortunately, we were able to provide a solution. Alex Wysocki, a distinguished member of our association, shared his extensive experience in organizing forest conferences since 2015. He has visited, consulted, promoted, and organized more than 20 conferences and business programs for online and offline events. These events cover a wide range of topics including forest GIS, inventory solutions, timber marketplaces, forest software development, integrations, ERP, and MRP systems.
Building on the insights and discussions, Pinja, Fosize, WoodFlow, HD LogSystems, WoodScanner, and Polter have come together to establish three types of events that will foster collaboration and knowledge exchange:
- Low Level: Monthly online webinars addressing current topics open to anyone interested in the forestry industry.
- Mid Level: Hybrid conferences dedicated to three main regions in forestry: Linkiwood America (North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean), Linkiwood EMEA, and Linkiwood Asia and Pacific.
- High Level: Linkiwood Leadership Summit, an exclusive closed event for industry leaders.
At Linkiwood Association, our events are guided by the motto: Business. Networking. Fun. We aim to create an environment where forest software companies and wood companies can connect and together shape the future of the wood industry.
